About Us
The senior staff of Axlor Consulting LLC have over 45 years of experience in economic, litigation and environmental consulting. While learning much from our prior experiences at various firms and on numerous cases, we decided to found Axlor to create an environment focused on high value and quality work, while at the same time maintaining the values of honesty, integrity, efficiency and responsiveness – terms our clients regularly use to describe us in their feedback. We also wanted to have flexibility and fun with our own firm.
While naming our new venture was one of our hardest tasks (you would be amazed at the hundreds of interesting names that are already in use by other firms and products), we agreed that the print of Dr. Seuss’s Lorax hanging on our wall had special significance to us. We often address environmental and product liability issues in our work, and repeatedly learn the lesson of how actions can impact the environment and how obtaining a balance can be a challenging, but achievable task. We also apply the lesson of mindfulness – we must always see the forest as well as the trees as we keep in mind the part our analyses play in the overall litigation, negotiation, or business matters at issue.
As a result, we derived “Axlor” as our own variant. Interestingly, Axlor is also an archeological site in Spain which has shown that Neanderthals developed tools and strategies to adapt to their changing environment.
