ASTM International updates climate change disclosure standard.

Axlor Principal, Gayle Schlea Koch, continued her long-standing work with ASTM International as technical lead for the recent review and update of ASTM’s Standard Guide for Financial Disclosures Attributed to Climate Change (E2718-16). This standard provides guidance for companies that are preparing financial disclosures for impacts related to climate change. Major changes in the standard include updated referencing to international work on climate change and sustainability metrics and reporting, as well as the identification of additional concepts for consideration such as stranded assets.
